This bar doubles as a body bar. Use as a shampoo bar and/or body bar.
This bar is full of lather and bubbles and leaves your hair and scalp feeling clean.
Conventional shampoos (even those that are natural) contain waxes and additives that are designed to make your hair feel smooth. Shampoo bars do not contain added waxes or synthetic ingredients, so your hair will feel different after washing because your hair is used to detergent based shampoos. Condition it like normal and your hair is going to feel amazing once styled.
Benefits:

FAQ about Shampoo Bars:
Shampoo bars were used before liquid shampoos and conditioners were invented in the 1920's.
These shampoo bars contain no detergents, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, preservatives, artificial fragrance, colorants, or any other synthetic hair care additives.
Your transition will require an adjustment period. Everyone's hair is different and unique, therefore not everyone will transition quite the same. Some people may take a few days to transition, while others may take weeks (or, even as much as a month). Your hair will need that time to go through a sort of withdrawal phase, in order to learn to adjust to a natural shampoo without those additives.
It's important, when using a shampoo bar, that you shampoo the hair as well as the scalp. This will require using your fingers to work the lather into the scalp as thoroughly as possible.
During the transition, it may help to use a vinegar rinse. An apple cider vinegar rinse can help remove residue from previous products and help remove build-up. Simply combine 2-4 Tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar with 8 oz water in a cup, and pour, squirt, or spray the rinse onto wet hair after you have rinse out the shampoo bar. Allow that to sit for a few minutes while you soap your body (make sure you close your eyes!) and then rinse the vinegar out. Since the vinegar restores a natural pH it also helps prevent an itchy scalp. You may need to repeat this 2-3 times each week as needed. Dry hair requires less vinegar and oily hair requires more.
Once you adjust to a natural shampoo bar, you may find that you need to rinse only 1 time each week.
Do I need to use conditioner with a shampoo bar?
Yes, you can condition like normal or a simple apple cider vinegar rinse in your hair routine should work wonderfully.
